Goodbye Cabin Fever

Shae was a trooper today, and when she finished her 2nd therapy session of the day, she asked us if we could take a walk in the village. Our apartment is in the village, so we were able to take the wheelchair and take her for a stroll. When you have hip surgery, it can be really challenging to try walk through the village on you crutches, so we borrow a wheelchair from the hospital, and then just return it the following day. This is really great for the patients, because it gets them out of the house, and it mentally is really good for them to get some fresh air outside of physical therapy.

So, we took Shae throughout the village. We made a pit stop at our favorite candy shop. And then took her to the crepe shop, where she got her favorite Cupcake flavored ice cream.
